xbox to vga

I have gentoox home edition 6.1 on my v1.6 xbox and it?s great but when I plugged it to my old monitor with a componet to vga cable attached to my arsenal box (s-video, a/v, componet green, blue, red and digital audio) looks so green, I have the same problem with my evox dashboard. Do I need to change my xbox bios or anything else in order to have vha support and full color on my monitor insted of only greens?
