Changing the keyboard lenguage

I really need help to use accents in the open office writer. I really need to type ?, ?, ?, ? and ?, and inserting them as symbols it`s such a slow an unpractical method. I hope there is a way, somehow, to set this accents on my keyboard, fast and easy, I don`t want to use Word, or any other microsoft program any more.
