No video after cromwell

Hi,

I have flashed cromwell to me tsop, however when I try to boot linux from the hdd or from the cd drive I get not video.

Just to confirm I get video from cromwell but as soon as linux is booted nothing on screen.

I think linux is starting though.

Any ideas?

Have you installed Gentoox yet.. or are you having problems seeing the installer?

Try connecting to your XBOX via SSH and running xbvset. You could also try connecting with your browser to see if the VNC server is running.

I have xebian installed, I'm trying to install gentoox, I can ssh in but no video.

So I guess that means you cant see the installer? Or did you do an FTP install. Please, be more specific with your responses. It'd also be nice to know what kind of cables you're connecting your Xbox to your TV with as well as what version of Xbox you have.

I'm using a CD to install gentoox pro, whether I try to boot the installed xebian of the hdd or the gentoox pro cd I get not video after cromwell. I connecting to the tv using a scart cable.

I think its a 1.5 v xbox, not sure will check.

Could you try completing the installation via ssh, then when Gentoox boots, ssh in and run "xbvset" and play around with the options there.

If that doesnt work, try using composite cables.
