Native install troubles

Post by shredder »

Hey ppl.

Im having some troubles installing gentoox home at the mo. Ive burned it to dvd and it boot its to the loader but complains it cant read it when I choose the cd/dvd option?!

So Ive done an FTP install and it works fine if I take the contents of DISTRO.rar and place them on the E: drive

BUT, when I really want it to take up the whole of the F: drive? Is this possible?

Ive tried changing the config file to f-drive and placing the rootfs and swap file on the F drive but it wont have it!?

Any ideas anyone? Thanks
