I'm a new user, and am having some problems getting up and running. Ive searched vigilantly the forums for any related topics that might help me out with my problem but unfortunately couldn't find anything, so i posted about my problem in this new topic as a result.

I have transfered the loader over to the xbox, and it loads fine without any issues. The problem is that I cannot seem to get my live cd's to load on the thing, and when trying net boot i get to the part where i upload the intred but it just kicks me out and i have to start that process all over. I do not want permanant install of gentoox, I just want to be able to run it off of a live cd and use it alike that.

If possible, i would like to know how to create a working live cd and then boot off of that using the gentoox loader.

Some Xboxes just have issues with reading these disks. You can still install using the FTP method.

Can you not throw it onto a dvd with a dummy file?

dvd-r work in any WORKING xbox dvd drive that i know of.
