i can't use samba

Post by lateralus »

at first i thougt samba was some sort of telnet client for linux but after running telnet and not being able to connect to my xbox i realised that that wasn't the case. so then i remembered that it said it had something to do with sharing with a windows network. so i thought netBIOS. i typed nbstat -a 192.168.1.104(my xbox's ip) and i got that under xbox there was a 20 which means my hd is shared. so i thougt ok this is pretty sweet i can have my xbox's hd as another hd under my computer but when i type net view 192.168.1.104 it says access denied and i don't know the netBIOS well enough to know how to log in. does anyone else know?
