my friend just got an old xbox with a crapped out hard drive due to a bad softmod so i fixed it for him and installed gentoox. now this is a version 1.1 and i've installed like 3 different versions of gentoox on it but all of them have the same result when it comes to gaim. every time you try to send an IM on gaim it closes every window associated with gaim. ive tried re-emerging it but that does nothing. any help for this one?

the same I have too!
I've installed Gentoox and wanted to try GAIM
But everytime, when someone sends a message to me, GAIM close completely! I don't know why?!

I've got the newest Gentoox Home Edit (6.1)
And XFCE....

Should i try to install an another messenger?
