I do not understand if it's possible to to upgrade home version from 5 to 6.05 without formatting.

I run magic but now I have an advice that magic could be no more sure to run it.

can you help me?

I think you're confused. There is only Home v6.0a.

The only way to "Upgrade" is to format (you can backup all your files in advance, though).
