GentooX not loading via CD, nor drive.

Hello! I have a problem installing GentooX, I used it before about maybe a year or two ago and it worked wonderfully for a Squid server for my home.
I am attempting to do the same now but my Xbox hangs on Starting CD/DVD part of the installation even with Xpads removed. I have FTP'd the contents to the disk as well and upon loading the main executable, the system flashes orange then powers off. GentooX is a wonderful distro for the xbox and I would like to be able to run it again, any suggestions?
