Please Help!

Post by thepita »

I have a 80gig hard drive. I rsized the partitions so that the f drive would have 10gigs for Gentoox home. And I put the rest on the g drive for homebrew app like xbmc, etc. I did a native install of gentoox and it took up all of the space. How can i resize it down to 10 gigs. and use the rest of the space for my g-dive.

have you tried using resctoox and putty?

I`d guess you`d be able to format a 10GB linux partion with that without touching your g drive as long as you had an F drive that was 10Gb and a g drive that takes up the rest to start with or format the fat-x partition afterwards., elsewhere for more info on that.

I thought about doing this myself but figured i`t would be to hard to set up, so I never went through with it, but then i`m not 2 up on all this stuff yet. Lol
