Media Center FTP Install

Post by rsmith4321 » Thu Feb 16, 2006 5:55 am

I've been able to successfully install the home version using FTP. But the Media Center version has a different file structure and I can't figure out how to FTP the files and then do an install from the Hard Disk. Is there a different procedure?

I tried using net boot and uploading the files, and gentoox does start but it hangs and says it can't find the boot cd. Is there any way to do this without a cd? Thanks.

Oh, and does anyone know a good source for ram chips?

Are you trying to dualboot MCE and Home? If not, uninstall gentoox home, then try to install MCE. I've never installed MCE... About RAM chips, go here http://www.otbmods.com/product_info.php/products_id/60
