SageTV for Linux/Gentoo

Post by HairBear » Mon Feb 06, 2006 12:58 am

I just aquired a SageTV Linux/Gentoo install disc. I would like to port it over to my XBOX. I would also like it to install to just the F partiton and run it as an app. I'm new to Gentoo/x and need to be pointed in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You!

did you get the sagetv client or sagetv media extender.. You dont have a media/tv input on the xbox. You would need extra hardware to make your xbox as a pvr or something similar.

If your looking for just media center, MythTV or gentoox MCE would do that for you.

You can make the linux version run as a client, which would be ideal for the xbox.

I'm currently working on it.
