Sound Server Informational Message:
Error while initializing the sound driver:

The sound server will continue using the null output device/
<checkbox> do not show this again

I think the issue may have started after I installed VNC. Any idea what might cause this? sound plays in Media player (although choppy and laggy every once in a while) At time the System will boot and not get any sound at all... im just nervous and dont want to tell the error box to bo away till i know what wrong...

Thank you in advance for any help :)

No i would have mentioned that... all are ok. My friend is having the exact same problem. I am surprised no one else has had this problem…. Also tried a “magic fix also && magic” no help there… its like the sound works sometimes WITH the error, and sometimes the error does not come up (and the sound does not work) Need an answer

How?

I'm getting the same thing since I ran Magic and updated to the latest kernel.

I am also getting the above error but I cant find a solution anywhere on the board.

Someone please help me with this error. Thanks.
