Can't view my F: partition outside of GentooX

To me it seems like the F: partition is still mounted after reboot, does anyone have any suggestions? I am not 100% sure when this started, but it is now an issue. All of the files are there when I look for em in GentooX but when I boot to my dashboard and load up XBMC (since it is still on my E: drive) none of my F: files show up.

Anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

What kind of install did you do? If you did a Native F install, then other software will see that there is nothing on the F partition, since Native F turns the entire F partition into a Linux partition.

Thats the thing, it isn't a native install. I did a DVD install, and all was well, but when I reboot or shutdown -time now I get an infinite loop on:

well, your f: cant be mounted after reboot unless its defined in your /etc/fstab

by the screenshot, it looks like its freaking on device hdb, your f: is /dev/hda55
