I just installed Gentoox in my XBox 1.6, I then used "magic now" to sync and after a while said for the "gpm" package:
---> 'str' object has no attribute 'insert' <---
Any idea how to solve such a weird thing????? ;(
Since I know little about it I read I could use emerge world (or something like that) I did and I found there was a file lacking in the process (tiff-3.7.3.tar) then I tried to get it thru ftp, the problem is the file is no longer in the root directory, they moved it to the /old subdirectory in the ftp server, so magic cannot find it... Any idea how can I fix this annoying bugs? Is it me the problem?????

I am trying to run Mono.NET in this Linux Server and develop nice web services. I promess if you give me some help I will publish an article showing how to make a .NET server with Linux in an XBox.
