I am using an E drive installation (therefore having read and write access to /mnt/fatx/f)

I was curious if it were possible to have the incoming and temp directories on /mnt/fatx/f. when I set it up so in download.ini, the downloads never start due to permissions... but if I su to the p2p user, i can read and write just fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have an F drive installation and uses F as temp and incoming dir for mldonkey.
I just had to edit the config file

Code: Select all

/etc/conf.d/mldonkey
and changed the following settings :

Code: Select all

USER="root"
BASEDIR="/mnt/fatx/f/mldonkey/"
SUBDIR=""
But there is still one problem left : fatx file name and size limitation. Not all torrents work and I often have to change the filenames to make the downloads commitable.
