I have a x2.6 lite which has been flashed with an x2 bios (cannot remember which, possibly 4983, it was a while ago.
It was working for about a week before it all of a sudden decided it wouldn't boot when I switched on my xbox 1 day. I had another chip (same as) lying around which i replaced the dead one with.
Works fine till this day (dont speak 2 soon!) but I cant flash the dead chip. Even with the write protect switched off it still says that the write protect is on.
Is this chip as dead as i think or is it salvagable?
Do I need an X2 Programmer?
