Anyway to reset root's resolution from the gentoox user?

Well I am on an X2VGA using gentoox right now. I was messing around and tried to change the screen resolution in xfce so it was permenently stuck flickering. I dont really feel like reinstalling so is there anyway to fix it from this account?

Also how do you set the clock in xfce?

Is there a way to change the aspect ratio in xfce? This x2vga is pretty high res but it is widescreen, so everything is stretched.
