Fresh XBox Gentoo (not gentoox, but the original one)

I have a few problems. I have installed it ok with no errors, untill i booted via cromwell the first time. They are

1) None of my usb devices start at boot, like i NEED them to
2) My sound, it wont start no matter what, even when i modprobe it. I even tried with the xbox=1 option.

If someone could help me that would probably all the help i need, i already have X running.
