gentoox ftp server

since I changed my Xbox to static, the gentoox ftp server is not working ;(
all the other apps like webmin & vnc are still working :/
what can I do now ?

what ftp server are you using?

i know that proftpd doesnt load if your ip and hostname are not defined in /etc/hosts

try setting correct values to /etc/hosts

just do a search with the samethings you questioning about...
click on search and put "allow incoming connections"..

nothing, on the xbox, if proftpd is running, gentoox doesnt come with a firewall, unless your talking people outside your house cant access your ftp, then you need to open ports on your router
