G'day, on starting gentoox, it halts just after it initialises the usb ports etc

the last few lines on the screen talk about usb hub found, then 3 ports detected, then new usb device, the ms xbox controller, then mouse emulation... then it just stops, if I unplug the controller it says usb device disconnected, and if I plug it back in again it says connected, but it still doesn't get any further

what gives

Start Gentoox, and pull out all the connections from the USB ports

hopefully that should start your gentoox.

solved that problem, had to copy files back onto xbox, corrupted somehow.
