Disk Space (FTP Pro install on E: to an unopened v1.6 xbox)

Have just done a FTP Pro install on E: to an unopened v1.6 xbox, and emerge sync && emerge -u world....all went well. I've got gentoo running and i love it. Haven't even had to open the xbox.
I can't figure out now if I've got enough diskspace on E: to start emerging stuff....this is confusing me...I know the file system lives within E:/rootfs - but how much of it is available to me to use for emerging apps and for data?
Do I have 3 Gb available or 271 Mb?
I hope it's the 3Gb one, 3 Gb will be fine for my purposes.
