Resctoox 1.5: Trouble with SSH

Post by mrsparkle37 »

I'my trying to use Resctoox 1.5 to move my Gentoox install from the E: drive to F: drive. I've used Resctoox both from a burned DVD-r ISO and from the HDD. In both cases, I get to the screen with the IP information on the screen, seemingly awaiting an SSH telnet session to the local IP 192.168.1.13. My router IP and computer IP match those on the screen.

With this network information on the TV, I've tried to telnet to the Xbox using Putty and SSH Secure Shell Client. In both cases, I receive an error message... with Putty, I get "Network Error"; with SSH Secure Shell, I get a message saying that the "Key Exchange failed".

Help! I've got a hardware modded Xbox V1.0, Xecuter 2.6, X2 Bios 4983. I've replaced the stock Xbox HD with a 120 I'm using a WRT54G router on my network, running Sveasoft Alchemy 6.0rc6a.
