Does anyone got the 2.6 kernel working?
If yes could you put the .config file somewhere or mail it?

I need to get it working I'm trying hard but no suc6!
I got TraktorFS to work on my desktop Gentoo with 2.6 kernel, but I want it to run on the xbox.
Now gives the usb driver a stack error, and I don't know from WHAT!

final scratch is whack, get with the times SSL is where it's at.

Back to the matter in hand,
What version of FS are you running, I thought it used a 2.4 kernel. What version kernel are you using on your desktop (exact version).
Don't forget fatx doesn't work on the 2.6 kernel.

I will find a way porting fatx to 2.6, but that is no major concern!

Im running 2.6.10-gentoo-r6 now and it works fine with TraktorFS 1.1.4!
It took me about 3 days to make ONE single "patch" (pretty brute) to make it all work!

Somehow I didn't get the FS and 2.4 working on my desktop, I don't know why but it has some thing to do with ALSA of the USB driver.
But I can't tell for sure, becouse I get nonsense form debug!

But if you HAVE a working 2.6 could you send it to me?

If you port FatX to 2.6, I'd be very happy indeed ;)

I'd like 2.6. And for the default filesystem to be Reiser4.

Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, nod's the same as a wink to a blind bat.

But have you got al fully working .config file?
I can't get the console to work properly and the xbox soundcard wont work even with 2.4 :S

Dont use the OSS drivers in 2.4. You should be using ALSA.

Yeah I´m using alsa duh :)

btw how do I edit the magic alsa script so it installes snd-usb-audio?
So I dont have to recompile AGAIN to expiriment with the TFS!

I have still no solution on the USB problem, it seems wine cuts off when it tries to start playback over the usb scratchamp.

Let me get this right,
Are you trying to run the windows version of TFS under wine on a linux box?

What's wrong with the native linux version?

Actually don't answer that Shallax doesn't have room on his harddrive for the problems with final scratch.
