Convert native to F or E?

Hi,
Is there any way to convert a native install to an F or E drive install with the rootfs stuff on the FATX partitions? I've got my entire F locked away in GentooX, and seeing as I could never fill that up, I wanted to free it up for storing media for XBMC.

Would I have to somehow make a loopback and then copy everything over and edit configs? Or maybe I could reinstall GentooX as an E-Drive install, and then overwrite the files in rootfs with stuff from my native partition?

Thanks!

It depends how much space you have used on your native partition. If it's less than 4GB it should be possible to copy everything into a loopback. You could also try making a gzip or bzip2 tar file of the system then extract that in to a loopback.

Thanks for the fast reply. :D

So, essentially, I can just install GentooX as a loopback installation, and then copy everything from my native partition back into the rootfs?
