Howto install Gentoox in F:\Linux\ ?

Post by grand_master »

I've just downloaded "Gentoox Home Edition" and want to install it in F:\Linux . Normally Gentoox is installed under the root of E: , but can be moved to F: with the "magic f-drive"-command. However, this only move Gentoox the root of F: . I want to have Gentoox installed in the map "Linux" on F: . How do I manage that?

There is a simple answer to this question and that is - you can't.

I presume like me you like to have all your files organised, trust me when I say it is worth having a few files in your root to use this great distro.

Hope that clears it up for ya.
