gentoox is black and gray ????

i installed gentoox and its black and gray why, im sure i did it right, is there some setting that i messed up on?? if so how do i go back and fix it hope i dont have to re install from cd again because that takes forever :( please somebody i need help

try running xbvset and choosing different settings
