Linux no longer loads...

Post by MadeWade »

well... i'm not sure what the hell happened...
i booted linux, and usually, when it's loading, i get all those little [ok] boxes on the far right side, now, i don't, they all fail
my Gentoo login doesn't load up anymore and i get a blue screen with an error in a grey box that says something along the lines of "the disk is too full to write to"... i don't understand that seeing as I have over a gig free on my E drive
so... i can't even get to my Gentoox login screen...
after sitting at that screen for about 5 seconds it repeats a line over and over again until it stops and it says:

/sbin/depscan.sh

to fix this.

Could not get dependancy info for "sysklogd"!

Please run:
i think it's out of order and is supposed to read:

Could not get dependancy info for "sysklogd"! Please run: /sbin/depscan.sh to fix this.

i can still SSH in
anyone kno how to fix it? or should i just reinstall?
thanks

format your e: and start over i would think.

i had a failed magic f-drive, and my rootfs would disapear and still take up space.
