OK i just got gentoox, the way i installed it was ftp'ed all the files in distro to the dir of E:\, all files are there but when i launch gentooxx.xbe it just hangs in the loading menu. I thought maybe since its so big some files might be corrupt? so i tried different dashboards and different ftp clients but nothing. I dont know what else to try my next i will probably try booting it from a dvd, which would be the same but maybe that will work. I have a 80gb hdd it is unlocked, xecuter2, i dont know what is wrong. Should i try the pro version, downloading it from a different mirror, boot from dvd or what do you think please help as i really wanna try this!!

I had the same problem with mine, it was a configuration setting in my evox.ini. I upgraded to the newest version of the dashboard and that took care of it.

did you flash one of your banks on your chip (if you have any spare ones) with cromwell ?

I would try booting from the cromwell bios that comes with gentoox.
