i ran emerge lirc and it got stuck in a loop it seems it was just recompileing the same thing over and over. so i just went and downloaded the src for lirc manuly. after decompresing it i ran ./configure now this is where im stuck it brings up a menu "select your driver" and it lists various ways to conect via serial but i dont see any usb ones, i would like to use the dvd dongle ir recever is the possiable?
