proftpd user

i've looked everywhere yet i still can't find out how the F*$# to make a new user for proftpd like it says in firstboot.

This has been driving me mad.......
Please help


Also every time my xbox boots it boots without sound... i forgot the error i get from kde but it says something about the audio somethin(sorry but i forgot the error and disabled the window from coming up again)

just create a normal linux user and they will also be able to log on to proftpd, if you don't want them to be able to log on to the linux box give them a /bin/false shell
