solved ...
i started in 480p then set from KDE panel to 800x600 and works!
now, What about going up to 1024x768??? My monitor doesn't support gentoox default values and doesn't display anything.
Is there a way to test a resolution before setting it?
Any suggestion to let my monitor work at 1024 ... (of course it supports it)
