I've been trying to decide wether I should finally break down and buy a new computer or if I should just snag another xbox or three and let them all plug away in tandem.
It's certainly cheaper to go with the xbox approach, I'm familiar with linux and have been running gentoox for some time now so there's no trouble there. I don't plan on trying to use them for gaming so no worries there, all I really need to know are some concrete numbers. Most specifically kernel compile times, how long it takes to re-encode something with transcode, etc.
I would appreciate any information that you guys might have.
