is there a way to simply download the xpad driver for a 2.4 kernel? or is there a source package i can use to compile it? I dont want to run linux on my xbox but I DO want to use my xbox ddr pad under Linux on my desktop machine.
I have modded the cableing and it shows up under /proc but without the driver the buttons wont register.

shallax's update script for the kernel is probably a good place to start. Otherwise you probably need to download from the cvs on the xbox linux pages on sourcefourge
