stage tarball?

any stage tarballs for the xbox i can grab?

even pro's rootfs is like 2+GB's extracted

The smallest one you can grab is pro. You can extract it and strip out what you don't want if you like. Then just ftp install it.

Unless what you were looking for is a smaller download, in which case, I think you're SOL =/
