Hello all. Well I'm using Gentoox home 3.0c and I have no problems with it what so ever. Infact I think it's the best linux distro I have ever used (yes better than red hat :p). If you need to use Ext3 so bad then go and use Xebian you lame asses. Gentoox works perfect, I made ICEWM my default window manager, it isn't that hard and I got all my menus from KDE in there to, kick ass! Magic is running perfectly, I think it would be a lot of work shallax did Ext3 support. I think it's a great distro shallax. Oh did some one say they want X2VGA support on like page 2? Isn't that already in magic?

Actually, come to think of it, probably the same speed, since the real slowdown isn't in RAM or proceser speed or hard disk speed, it is in networking speed. So it is possible that it would not slow things down at all.Trogdor wrote:Theoretically, slower, but by just a little.ShALLaX wrote:Also, is a progress bar really going to make it go any faster?

Hum I think it's going to be a long wait for the next version of Gentoox. Haven't seen Shallax post any news or post on the forums in a while (he probebly has to much uni work to get on with or is ill again but thats ok). I think it would be cool to wait long because then we would get a bug free version of gentoox. The usb loclups need to be fixed though. I don't know what it is but somtimes when I bootup Gentoox it just does not detect my normal controler or keyboard (does in XBE though). Strange that. I don't know what else could be added in the next version though it's already a top notch distro.
