GentooX Support for USB GPS PLEASE!

Post by AmazinAl »

PLEASE! I may be one of a very select group, but I have mounted my Xbox inside my car, and I would love for GentooX to support a USB GPS receiver such as this one:

http://www.megagps.com/index.asp?PageAc ... &ProdID=47

or this one:

http://www.thegpsstore.com/Detail-Garmi ... for-PC.asp

or this one:

http://www.thegpsstore.com/Detail-US-Gl ... ceiver.asp

It would be extremely useful as I can play music/surf the web while in wifi hot spot (I hardwired a wireless G router into it... hehe) while running the GPS... Please! Support would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks a lot...

perhaps i dont understand but why did you hardwire a wireless g router if your going to be using wifi hotspots, you would have to install a usb wifi card to the xbox to access the hotspots anyway
