How about a Gentoox Live CD, so that if you boot somehow becomes screwed you can boot from that disc and samba over your files?
That is what happened to me, Gentoox will no longer boot, at least without errors. Says dev/boot not found, etc. The sparkle does nothing to fix that either.
For now I am trying to install Gentoox on a smaller drive, then get the files backup, by removing the DVD and putting the old drive there.
Another Suggestion is get rid of the Xbox Partitions altogether, I don't use that Xbox as an Xbox, it is a file server only. That way if something goes wrong someone could just stick that drive in a real PC and get the info off.

You can put your drive in a PC and get the info off provided your drive isn't lockedlotw wrote:Another Suggestion is get rid of the Xbox Partitions altogether, I don't use that Xbox as an Xbox, it is a file server only. If you keep an open mind, will your brain fall out?
