Ok, I'm trying to run magic, and it syncs and everything, but it messes up when getting the new Alsa module. It logs into the ftp and says its getting the file, but it just sits there for a few minutes and then says something about a server error. I've been having this problem for a few weeks now, could it be something with my router?

err what was the error / have you successfully magic'ed any other files ??

try running:

USE="-ipv6" emerge wget

Then re-run magic.
