Shallax: is support for new kernels your responsibility, or the xbox-linux team's? Cause 2.6 is 47% faster running Apache hosting dynamic content than 2.4.

hey its nice to hear that the new kernel is so much faster but, it would also be nice if you told us how to go about updating it, im trying to follow this http://flex-it.be:8080/gentoo-xbox.html and this http://wiki.xbox-linux.org/ but i use the "gentoo-dev-sources" kernel files, im trying to follow it, ive changed the dirs accordingl y but i get errors trying to conifig the config file, maybe if you told me how you did it step by step it would be nice

I believe you need the xbox kernel patches, which arent available yet for the 2.6 kernel.

you need to move the kernel to the root of you E drive but I wouldn't count on it working.
