People! You're not reading the big red letters which say "AFTER RUNNING MAGIC YOU MUST RUN XBVSET BEFORE REBOOTING". If Xfree doesnt start for you, SSH in and type "xbvset", this should fix your issues.
ShaLLax, how about making it not do a reboot on it's own, then we might just be able to run xbvset before the reboot?
Seriously mate, I ran it form within KDE (not sure if this is a no-no anyway) and I saw the BIG RED LETTERS. When I came back 45mins later the thing had reboot itself - I thought this was par for the course.

It doesnt reboot itself, you must have pressed "enter" whilst it was compiling which WILL make it reboot when it finally says "press enter to reboot". Be more careful next time.
