hi,
i can´t get gentoox 3c on my box
when i install it from disk ; after 98% decompressing appears : crc failed. and the installation is canceled.
what can i do ?
is it necessary for installation to have an empty e: or f: drive ? because there are some files on it
thx for answers

crc errors are in relation to file integrity (Cyclic Redundancy Check), to put it bluntly the file is rooted/stuffed/unusable/broken etc..
redownload is the only option - sorry

does not need to be it will only install what it needs to and should not effect existing files (providing its not a native install)
