would you like a xbox with your case fan :) ?

as you can see im very particular and neat about my xbox mods (NB: dried glue, bad cutting, poorly installed usb connectors, etc.)

all i know is i cant make it go over 34*C on 20% fan speed, as long as you can put up with the noise :P

i might consider the same fan mod, maybe a little differently executed.

maybe its not as apparent in the uk and other cool places, but i know for sure while i was recompiling my kernel the cpu was almost at 60 degrees C.

it sure does get hot here.. and its not even summer

that is a rather nice looking xbox but what functionality does all the leds serve.. :P besides mine was simply so i could compile faster.. before the 6inch fan i could not get below 50* when compiling (even on 100% fan speed before you mention it ShALLaX :P ) and now i cant get it above 34* on 20%... so i think that a 20* cooling drop was worth the 25 minutes of trying to cut/solder/bolt the bitch in :)

its sposed to be ugly and bloated its a M$ product at heart :)

spathi i will do yours :) as long as you dont mind it looking like crap....

are you sure.. cos im fairly sure that if you solder it this way (see below nb: not my pic stolen from a modding forum but im sure that mods.dk dont mind/wont find out) it will operate as per normal

you just need 2x3mm leds for each side (different colours sharing the same ground) and then it will operate as if you was to have default setup

hope this helps

BTW you are correct blink works fine. I have 2x3mm leds per side (1 blue 1 red)

Cheers

It's for my mod chip. It's part of the X-ecuter 2.2 package.
