Sure you can. Just make sure you don't select a native install or you will use up the whole f drive.
On one box I use evox to launch Gentoox just like a regular app.
Go for it.

Yeppers,
Do an E drive install and its all sweeet
as all your games are usually on your F drive then you are OK!
if you want to access these directories through gentooX once it is installed you can just /mnt/fatx/f (F drive) and so on
best OS on a Microsoft Patented product

If you have done a regular install you would have ended up with about 7 files in the root of e. One of them is gentooxx.xbe
add:-
Item "Gentoox","e:\gentooxx.xbe"
to the evox.ini file and you are good to go

thanks for your quick responses :]
Just one last question, of all of the xbe's that are installed onto e: none of them is named "linux.xbe" ? i already have an xbe of that name there doing something else, so i just want to make sure its not going to be overwritten by gentoo?
Thanks.

the files on your E drive will be
initrd.gz 260k
gentooxx.xbe or gentoox.xbe 1.3Mb
linuxboot.cfg 99 bytes
rootfs 3Gb
swap 256Mb
vmlinuz 930k
