Shallax post http://gentoox.shallax.com/modules.php? ... le&sid=450 prompted me to post a picture of my two native gentoox bOxes in an effort to spur others in to doing the same as I love looking around other peoples gaffs! Nice wall paper by the way shallax!

Well I just happen to have a photo to share. Us geeks carry around photos of loved ones, pets, and modded xboxes in our electronic wallets (pda) you know ;)

it turns out that I have the exact type of monitor as you and I was wondering what type of xbox to vga did you use?

If you mean me, I don't, I use them un-headed, as you can see I have to ssh sessions open.

Hay, rprockey that looks lile a Cisco switch, thats abit overkill for home, I've got a spare 3com super stack 2 I could swap it with :wink:

I think there is but apparently the ActiveSync is a bit flaky, I wouldn't have the balls anyway, its not like you can boot off a CD and put it all back... hehe, I did get it for the price of an x30 by buying from the states how mad is that when they are made in Ireland.

Ehh, all PDAs are made by HTC and have a great boot loader these days. You can hold a combo of keys, connect via a serial terminal and dump the ROM to an SD/ CF card. That way if you screw anything up you can _always_ recover :D
