Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell ,e, if i buy a new HDD (120GB), and wanted to install Gentoox, what should I do ? Which install typr should I use ?

E, F, native ?

It depends.

If you don't want Gentoox touching your F drive at all, choose the E install, but really, there's no reason to do an E install unless you have a stock HDD.

If you want to install Gentoox, but still have all your homebrew apps, games and what not, then choose F.

If you want to dedicate your F drive completely to Gentoox, then select a native install. This will format your F drive to a native Linux system which will be used exclusively for Gentoox.
