Hi, I have Home 3.2. I tried to connect secondary hdd from another xbox instead of dvdrom, but I can't get access to partitions on this drive. I have something like this in dmesg:
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target1/lun0: unknown partition table
p50 p51 p52 p53 p54 p55 p56<6>
but when system boots up, I can only access:
/dev/ide/host0/bus0/target1/lun0/drive
there is no part55 or any other.
Is it possible to have access to this partitions?
I made some invastigation:
I connected xbox hdd to pc and checked, that I can access it only if it is connected as master drive - when I connect it as hdb or hdd - I had this same situation as in xbox, but if it was connected as hdc it works OK.
I think, problem is somewhere in xbox.c but I can't find it, becouse I'm not programmer. Anyone can help with this?

EDIT: your gonna run into a problem if that drive is locked, i assume you have a modchip if your disconnecting your dvdrom? Make sure the second drive is unlocked so you can access on the home 3.2 xbox
set the second hard drive jumpered as slave, make your partition and mount it, also add correct entries to /etc/fstab
