Hi!

I got a gp32..
Some time ago someone ported linux to it.
It works great though the GP's hardware are very limited..
Check out gp32linux.com !

How can you make XBox linux that fast?
Cause it boots to a GUI in seconds.

I know about linux live plugin or whats it called...
Why isn't there momre work on that one.. like have a fatx acces and mplayer and xine....

It would be the best legal media player...

Plz talk to me :P

Sorry for asking, but again why was it not possible to use a fatx partition as rootfs?
Was it the kernel or permissions or something els?

FatX doesnt support file permissions or symbolic links... which are essential in any linux distribution.

Your GP 32 boots instantly for many reasons:

1) Its running from ram.
2) It doesnt have half as much running in the background (it will be a really cut-down distribution).
3) It probably runs something like QTE rather than a full X server.
