How is G^3 coming along? And when can we expect a real release?

Compiling on a cube?

Unfortunately, Shallax is right, compiling on a cube really isn't pracitcal. Try hooking it up, running g3netsetup and doign "emerge lynx" -> 1.5 hr install ;)
Still, using isobel's patch I got sdl up and running on it, albeit I've only tested with a cool little fractal program so far - haven't got round to installing mplayer.
But even with distcc.....well, needing a BBA and some form of hacking equipment for each (or many runs of PSO), it doesn't work out great
