When I boot into Home it boots correctly no errors. Tells me that my ip is set correctly 192.168.1.103. However, the network doesn't really load properly. So, I created a shortcut to restart the network and it works. I just hate having to actually login to get the network working. Is there a way to make sure it works or maybe have the net.eth0 script restart after reboot to resolve the issue?

I find that my box will only bring the network up the second time I boot it. I don't understand what could cause this problem, but it always works after a reboot.
You could try adding the command to restart the network into local.start
